Scott Olson has more than 18 years of diverse legal and business experience. Scott began his legal and business career at Andrews Kurth, LLP, as an Associate, and he remained at the firm from 1998 to 2002. From 2002 to 2003, he occupied the role of Managing Partner with Larson King, LLP.
Scott then founded the Dallas office of Greenberg Traurig, LLP, an international law firm, and assumed the role of Managing Shareholder of the Greenberg Traurig Dallas Office. He also served as Global Co-head of Greenberg’s Structured Finance & Derivatives Group, representing banks, borrowers, investors, servicing companies and other parties.
From 2006 to 2010, Scott was Co-Founder and a Managing Director of asset based hedge fund PBL, which managed over a billion dollars in investments. Since 2010, he has taken on the role of advisor and/or investor in a variety of business opportunities.
Currently, Scott is a Partner with Turtle Creek Holdings, a 22+ year old investment partnership focused on private equity and venture capital investments in a diverse range of businesses and assets. He also serves as CEO of Pathway Healthcare.
Scott attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and won the Hugo Black Fellowship Award and the Outstanding Young Alumni Award. He also holds a JD from Vanderbilt Law School and for three years served on the Vanderbilt Law School Board of Directors.
Before college, Scott served our country in the USAF.
Scott is committed to philanthropic involvement and to his church, where he serves as a lay leader, deacon, teacher, and board member of the church foundation. He and his wife Erin of almost 17 years have three children.
